A “jazzed up” combo June 27, 2008

The following gifts were jazzed up upon special request from my client who is from an American bank, for her boss. His wife had just given birth to a baby girl.

She requested for the Tender Beginnings for Girls hamper for the baby, some flowers for the mom (& hamper) -preferably exotic ones since they were british, and a big brother photo album for the elder son. After some thought, I suggested orchids for mom since foreigners love them so much.

While at the florist, I thought some Fuchsia Gerberras would go nicely with the hamper ribbons. And we found 2 lovely mini-Phaelanopsis orchids in light pink and hot pink and a lovely magenta basket to put them in! It was all worth it, as according to her (used with permission):

“Just spoken to my boss and he and his wife are very impressed and happy with your hamper…..many thks again for all this. The hampers are really nice and over my expectations…no wonder my boss and his wife like them so much. I will for sure forward all those pictures to all my colleagues…”

Ooh La Diva! All wrapped up June 27, 2008

I realised I should have taken photos of all the hampers that I sent out, especially the custom-made ones, and regretted not taking all of them. Will surely do so from now on!

This is Ooh La Diva! wrapped up with bridal tulle, a ribbon and a ball of lovely scented silk jasmine flowers. It’s my personal favourite spa hamper because it evokes an alluring luxury feel for me, and I felt the wrapping should also have the same effect. 

The recipient is an actual “diva” celebrating her 80-year birthday. This grand dame is a ballroom dance TEACHER, and apparently danced throughout the night during her birthday bash in a gorgeous sexy gown – with young 30-something male dance instructors! You go, lady!

We’ve Unveiled! May 29, 2008

We’re so excited to be here! And thank you for coming to visit! It seems to have been a long journey coming, somedays it felt like it would never happen – we simply couldn’t wait to start!
